How to use the Keyboard Diagnostics Tool

This utility checks every single key on your keyboard for structural faults, stuck contact pads, or electronic routing issues. Simply press any key to start.

1. Color Indicators

Dark Gray: Keys not yet pressed. Vibrant Blue: Keys currently held down. Subtle Cyan: Keys successfully registered and responsive.

2. What is Keyboard Ghosting?

Ghosting happens when you press multiple keys simultaneously and some of them fail to register due to hardware matrix limitations. This tool lets you hold down up to 10 keys simultaneously to test your keyboard's rollover capability (e.g., 2-key rollover vs N-key rollover).

3. Layout Compatibility

You can toggle between QWERTY and AZERTY layouts directly in the options pane above. If you press a key and a different layout letter highlights, please verify your operating system's keyboard layout settings.
